Our Support Request System has moved! To raise a new support request or access any requests raised after June 1st, 2025, you will be redirected to our new HelpDesk located at https://support.virtutech.com.au/portal. You may continue to access your ticket history via this portal where all requests made prior to June 1st, 2025 will be archived as readonly.
Note: Outstanding requests located at this HelpDesk will continue to operate here until they have been resolved.
This article includes alternate instructions for both Server 2012 as well as Server 2016 and newer.
Logging out of your server view instead of disconnecting
Server 2012
1) Press the Start button in the bottom left of your screen or on your keyboard. 2) In the top right corner, click or tap on your name / profile picture 3) Click or tap on Sign out
Server 2016 or newer
1) Press the Start button in the bottom left of your screen or on your keyboard. 2) In the Start menu that appears, click or tap on your profile icon. 3) Click or tap on Sign out
Why do I need to logout?
Disconnecting from a session keeps all your files, applications and background processes running in an 'idle' state.
Issues where signing out and back in can resolve them, are not fixed by closing using the X at the top of the screen.
